Amsterdam: The Wild City
Amsterdam — The Wild City, a 60′ feature made by EMS films looking at the cities unique inhabitants in a new light. I worked on a few long lens behavioural sequences for the film which included Swifts, Sparrow Hawks, Sea Gulls and Foxes. I also really enjoyed shooting an urban bee keeping sequence where we were lucky enough to witness and film a swarm forming in front of us. I was the also the time-lapse DOP for the film, shooting stylised hyper-lapse sequences and time-lapse sequences in the film including the fast paced ‘commuting scene’ within the city to help draw similarities between people and worker bees of a hive.
