This second series of images is Svalbard, a Norwegian archipelago between mainland Norway and the North Pole, were captured on a medium format camera.
The landscape 80ºN of the Arctic Circle is a shifting mass of ice straddling far flung islands where it can. The ocean currents and unpredictable wether combine to produce dramatic conditions unlike anywhere else on Earth.
Only one image of each scene was taken and due to the nature of the medium I was using. Each image is unique and stands as the only rendering of the scene at that particular time.
