In 2021 I went back to Svalbard for six weeks to shoot for the polar episode of the Apple+ TV series – Big Beasts. We had a lot on the wish list and as always Svalbard did not disappoint. We filmed glaciers calving into the sea, Walrus doing their thing above and below the surface, aquatic stalking Polar Bears hunting bearded seals in broken sea ice as well as other Polar Bear encounters to try and tell the diverse array of stories found in this incredible place.

These are a few of my favourite stills I took whilst on the trip and as you can see we were blessed with some pretty incredible and dramatic conditions.
