I love cold places and especially cold/moody places. This is Svalbard in a nutshell, weather can change on a dime and I don’t think I have ever been somewhere with such incredible and variable skyscapes. There was always something happening on the horizon, you just had to be awake to see it. It is truly one of my favourite places in the world, stunning wildlife spectacles framed with the most dramatic of backdrops makes it a hard place to beat in my book. As always with my work trips these are selection of mostly landscape stills as when the wildlife turns up we pick our ‘proper’ cameras!
